Students enrolled in the program will move together through their courses both on Molloy's Rockville Centre campus, located 40 minutes outside of New York City, and at Molloy/CAP21's newly-renovated, state-of-the-art Manhattan Center located at 50 Broadway.
Prepare for a career in musical theatre, theatre, and on-camera work
Molloy/CAP21 Musical Theatre program offers a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre. You will study at both the 葫芦影业 Rockville Center Campus and at the University's state-of-the-art studios in downtown Manhattan. An integrated training program is taught by an expert faculty of seasoned professionals, many of whom are currently working in the industry.
You will engage in a comprehensive, rigorous and challenging course of study that involves academic coursework, intensive conservatory training, and a variety of performance opportunities, all designed to support students in the development and refinement of their musical theatre performance skills.
The academic component of this training includes general education and elective courses. The conservatory courses focus on the practical application of musical theatre performance techniques, including singing, voice and speech, movement, acting, dance, script analysis, music theory and private voice.
Our comprehensive training also provides a solid foundation in audition technique, as well as training in the business aspects of the professional theatre to assist you in launching a professional career and achieving life-long success as a theatre artist.

Please note that all Musical Theatre transfers will begin as first- year students and will need to complete the full 4-year BFA training sequence, regardless of previous college experience.

How CAP21 Shaped Ruri Kodama鈥檚 Journey as a Performer
Ruri Kodama, a recent graduate of 葫芦影业鈥檚 CAP21 Theatre Arts program, embraced a unique college experience that blended campus life with the energy of New York City鈥檚 theatre scene. She began her studies on Molloy鈥檚 Rockville Centre campus, where she lived in the residence halls and completed her core academic courses. As her training deepened, Ruri regularly commuted to Molloy鈥檚 Manhattan Center to study theatre arts through the renowned CAP21 Conservatory. In the second half of her college career, she moved to Brooklyn鈥攑lacing her closer to the heart of NYC鈥檚 vibrant theatre district and allowing her to fully immerse herself in the performing arts community.
